Iceland (the UK food retailer not the country) have already got MINCE PIES in stock. Probably with a best before date sometime in October.

I don't really mind stuff being on sale early , it's when you go out Christmas Eve and all the shops have got rid of everything and all the tat for the sales is in it's place . Commercialism is killing everything but I can't help loving Christmas

I agree ,it does get earlier every year ,we haven't even had Halloween and Bonfire night yet !! I can understand Hobbycraft and the like being months ahead as you may have to make and paint stuff and it takes time .
