The point is - others who were enjoying it - now cannot.
And - anyone just looking in - will look at that and think - not gonna get involved if this is the twaddle that goes on.
Is it ANY wonder manufacturers avoid the forums? We need to avoid this drama here.
Oh dear ........ probably best if you remove it then ..... thanks.

I ran an R/C Drift forum for 10 years, I realised that locking threads did nothing for a friendly atmosphere, rather than highlight antisocial posting I just deleted posts, it worked great, my forum members loved my forum, the best there was for years...Fakebook ruined it of course. Don't wield the admin hammer just cut out the cancer.

Being a mod over on SFI it is a pleasure to come here and just read and enjoy the threads....although I havent done so for a while.
I am the mod who locked the "Which Powerbase" thread on SFI.
What you cannot see or know is the history between some members who will turn the simplest of discussions into a fire fight....this is why the thread was locked...I could feel the temperature rising.
I like the idea of just deleting posts/replies and will consider that in the future.

I thought your timing was spot on Munter, I could feel the temperature rising as well and based on history knew what was likely to happen

. Although I had pushed myself to the front row ready to enjoy the show

, not the right thing I know

I'll go and check my attitude now

Interesting though I popped over here to see if there was any continuing discussion on the PB topic and found this thread.
