Hello all, can anyone steer me in the direction of a current UK source of 6mm Venture Tape?
A search here found a link in MOTD's Conington Park topic but its a 404 nowadays.

Hi Leo,
Try Here:
Copper Foil (creativeglassshop.co.uk)
Pretty sure the black backed 1/4" (6.3mm) is what I used.

Cheers Tel,
Thank you for very helpful response, that will do nicely.
I had found that company via Brian's link but didn't find the tape :- (

Apart from the colour is there any difference between the black or silver backed?

No Idea TBH Kevan.
I used the black backed as it is supposed to be conductive adhesive, but if it is, its not
that conductive

I don't subscribe to this conductive adhesive thing, I used cheap as chips chinese tape which is thinner than thin, I was expecting to have to solder connections to the ends for continuity but it wasn't necessary.
At the end of the day no adhesive is going to be as conductive as the copper.
...this was laid on top of Scaley Sport track rails by the way

The one I used is MasterFoil Plus non conductive adhesive
LINK. 6mm seems to be obsolete but they still do 5.5mm which is pretty close.
You might like to try this eBay seller.
LINK I haven't used this for a full track but have used it to repair a couple of breaks with excellent results. It has genuinely conductive adhesive and is cheaper with free postage.

Cheers Brian, I saw that tape on Ebay but was put off by the low price. However, the friend that is building his layout might be tempted!!
