Yep white kit.
I ordered one with a 0.4 needle as I don't need to do fine airbrushing lines (and don't possess the skills to do so).
That seemed a good choice for painting 1/32 car bodies.
I just researched to see how long to wait until sanding the Vallejo primer, and come across a good few people saying it doesn't sand and it dries rubbery.
But 24 hours seems like the number. Now I am worried in a few hours I may undo my work rectifying a couple of spots.

Well it turns out this luddite old fart can't learn new tricks, and the airbrush is going back.
Back to aerosols for me, but for a change I will try the Tamiya sprays instead of automotive ones, see how that goes

The good thing is, unless you're in a hurry you can always sand it down after a couple days of drying time and re-spray a primer coat.
Why send that new airbrush back??? What do you need help with?

all the faffing mixing paint to the right consistency ( yes I know you can buy it ready to airbrush but that wasn't what I had for the colour).
I am not a fan of how the colour went on either, seemed averse to any join or panel line.
Then the paint I used dried at the airbrush nozzle while waiting for the first coat to touch dry for another coat.
In short I guess I just prefer the way aerosols cover and get in nooks and crannies in the first pass !
Yes its long term more expensive but I'll live with that for less faff !
I striped off the top coat, the undercoat is mostly intact, so I will just re-undercoat with Tamiya primer and then topcoat in due course.

I finished the Transit Vans for Brian a while back, and he collected them when we had our GOLD meet.
I got the other 2 van bodies in a deal with Brian, and had started building a less cost limited version for myself, today I finished them off.
Amato universal inline chassis, Brass angle bar for chassis weight (the bodies are very hefty!) and filling unsightly vertical gap between chassis and body, Slot.it pod axles and gearing , NC5 motor and Staffs wheels with urethane rear tyres and Revoslot deep guides.

I got them from CMOTD, they were once used at the club many years ago.
No idea where they came from or what they were before they were slotified !

Ronnie has been in the UK for a few days so my bench (dining table) looked like this. She's back today and it looks somewhat different now!!
Anyway, I was shocked to see how many dead motors I have. Not sure if it's the power supply, the way I drive or just the fact that most are approaching 50 years old. The Parmas are not that ancient but bang they go just the same.
While bits were out, I rewound a 26D for the Honda with its Dynamic inline and want to get the Revis going as well. The maser had a Pittman in as it blew the Atlas - another!! - but I managed to re-solder the wire that had detached and it goes round again and its back in the Maserati.
Most slot stuff I've done for ages but whilst the cat's away......
