Yo Steve, For my Citroen I used Humbrol "Dark Green 30 Matt" but decided it was too matt and gave it one coat of lacquer.
I believe the vehicles were matt finish to avoid any sunlight flaring to the cameras.
I think Dinky used gloss to make them more appealing to buyers.
My photograph makes the Citroen look more pale than it is...

Cheers Leo , might nip up to our local motorfactors and see what they have , I rather thought that it was a flat colour .The vehicle itself won't be a true representation ,just an approximation .
First set of figures currently in re-modelling, so here are three of the second set. The guy in the middle is the map-reader/timer without the map (he has his map now).

Really good Leo, like the badges the crew have and love the beard , modelled or just painted on ? I'm amazed how well they fit in other walks of life I'm now looking for others to use
Yo Steve,
Overalls are a bit shiny so will coat them with matt varnish. Beard is basically because the head moulding has a sort of wide jaw look. Also I like to have some diversity in the figures and am even going to try to give a guy a pony-tail.
My career was in Further Education where diversity was an area to be considered, so Scuderia Turini has female mechanics.
