Having been strongly advised to buy a Slot.it Porsche GT1 if I wanted any chance of success in the Open GT class at a nearby club, I thought I would buy an alternative car that I have been wanting to get for some time but did not have a series to race it in...

I agree with Nico. Jeremy's GTR F1 is a beautiful thing!
My first venture out of the house after surgery wasn't all that bad. Some new things were sitting on the shelves.
I've always wanted this car. After 3-failed attempts with three very warped Airfix DB5 kits. I finally gave in and bought a Scalex DB5. No regrets at all. This may not handle like an NSR. But it doesn't have to. It just needs to look good while cruising around the track. Mission accomplished.
This Policar Ferrari 412P was also calling my name. Who can turn away from such temptations? I brought it home and taught a lesson! I think?

Some 50-years ago my dad bought me a Strombecker 1/32 set. It came with a yellow GT40 on skinny tires. But it still looked cool from a kid's point of view. The yellow GT40 was one of my favorites. At 12-volts, these were a blast to drive.
Yesterday I met a friend that offered me a slightly better version of a yellow GT40. I swear the little kid in me nearly jumped!

Morning all,
it's my birthday today and here's my presents which I can't wait to get stuck into.
The Audi R8 will have Valentino Rossi's livery and the Alpha I think I'm going to do a different colour to what it should be just because I can.
The Chassis on this scale auto is amazing, seeing these things in real life compared to photo's is so different.
My son brought me the Wacky Races car, can you use these micro's on a normal sport track? it's got a very small guide obviously.
I don't want to open it if you can't use it on a normal size track, I'll just display it.
cheers
