UOP Shadow...if only it looked like this!
#1

I know there is some tempest in a tea pot over this, but I was REALLY looking forward to this car.  There is over 2 hours of photoshop to get it symmetrical, and clean...mainly the 3D printer lines that hadn't been sanded out.  I won't get into the mechanics of the car...anyone who owns one knows.  Anyway, I still love the look of the car!

If this was a 3DP body you did a great job, both analoge and digital

Kudo's Doug for making it looking like it does now

I've been searching for a car to run at LSC. London.
There is a class we run call "thundersports".
Its unlimited in every respect except that open wheel cars are not permitted.
I've never raced this class because it's so niche and only runs once annually.
This UOP Shadow looks like just the tool for the job.
I love the paint job and photoshop makes it a piece of art Beer

With things going the way they are , clubs are in lockdown and there is time to think and work on some very niche cars.
It might also be that clubs don't open 'till autumn and may re start with a warm up (non points scoring) class of racing.

To the questions...
Where are the 3D chassis and body sourced? (I don't find anything on shapeways)
Which motor pod is fitted?
How wide is the body?

Hello Alan,
The body was produced by "Changing Gearz" according to a thread on SCI. Seems that it was pulled from production after comments about the 3D print finish.
Doug's image bears little resemblance to the actual 1:32 body which presumably had the usual 3D print striations and needed hours of work to smooth out.
