Last week I 3D printed a Sunbeam Tiger and vividly remember the classic race over here in the Isle of Man and today google found me a video of the events.
I watched the race past the TT grandstand from the corner at the top of St. Ninians where the cars turned right and headed towards Willaston...
...was it really 30 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...tomorrow I'll test drive my 1/32 scale version...looking forward to it

Thanks for sharing that Tiger-fest. Did you spot the Jaguar E-Type FHC with the Kamm Tail?
Googled the same car it to find a photograph allegedly from 1972 but not much else. Some conversation about it being a modification carried out in the USA after the rear end had been damaged.

I spotted it in the video but not at the time in '92
Although I've raced model cars since the 70's (R/C cars) it wasn't until I started racing Slot cars (2015) that I became more aware of special classics.
I just spent time googling to hopefully find an article from back then with a list of entries...to no avail.
