I will definitely get something sorted next week so open it up for discussion .

I ran mine for the first time yesterday...how about for the unmodified class allowing the fitment a guide that actually goes into the slot and allows the bike to go rounds curves?

Sorry taking so long to reply and for laying out any rules .
Thinking along the lines of for unmodified class ,allowing change of tyres and adding of weight ,so I suppose changing the guide would also be ok.
For the modified class anything goes except for fitting it with four wheels !!!
I think the next step is to find out how many are interested ,in which class they are interested and how many tracks would be available .On that score I think it should stay UK based as postage and delivery times for abroad seem a bit chaotic at the moment
So will all interested parties chuck in any thoughts as this is my first proxy .
Thinking about late summer as a start .
Let's hear it from you guys

Hello Steve, I am definitely keen to enter
A fundamental aspect of proxy events is whether the vehicles are run more than one at a time (racing) or individually with one driver for consistency (time-trial).
I'm mostly interested in "light modifications" like guide and tyres. Policing the standard motors might be challenging given the long production span...

Hi Leo , I'm on a big learning curve here .
I was thinking of just single runs against the clock ,that way one person should be able to do each event .

Yeah, that's the way to do it (imho) When its a multi-driver type race event, my car always gets the least skilled driver. I once got an apology from a proxy driver who told me that the only controller he had was a 15ohm unit and that acted like an on/off switch with the standard Scalextric motors the cars had. My response was polite.
Limit entries to 40 vehicles max or it needs too much time to give each one a fair run.

There has been a surprising amount of sidecar activity on Ebay since you announced this, you never know.
