Whats on your bench ...

A compressor with regulator and 2 airbrushes.
All budget stuff, but plenty good enough for me to see how I get on.

I have one of those, works great...sadly my input is letting it down.

...used last week to airbrush Vallejo VJ26701 Acrylic Gloss Varnish on a hydrofilmed Mosler.

Yes, I haven't done a car yet, but have done a footbridge for the old mans railway which turned out OK.
I have bought a range of Vallejo acrylic model paints to use.
I used a custom mix to get the green, then gloss laquered with windsor and newton acrylic, brush weathered (my first ever attempt at weathering so excuse the poor execution) then matt Vallejo acrylic to protect.
I did get a couple of small runs, but as its at the back of the layout I can get away with it  Bigsmile

Pioneer Dodge Legend kit being prepared for our new WHO/digital class: first race in just over two weeks time.

Despite spraying outdoors in rather cold weather for these parts, I have managed to keep everything warm and minimise any orange-peeling in the top coat of green.

Pattos peel & stick decals (ideal for hard digital racing) ready for 7-10 days time. The chassis will be built and the cockpit and engine detailing finished by then.

I finally got around to gluing and truing some tires. No more egg-shaped tires. No more vibrations. Smooth acceleration, etc.

Besides requiring new tires. The beat up sidewinder McLaren needed the motor shaft trimmed. Now it goes back together.
