Arriving early January 2022 will be my
NSR Exclusive Limited Edition McLaren cars limited to 99 cars worldwide.
I've been lucky to grab mine on 10 of 99 and 24 of 99, pretty stoked about these.
I've gone for one of each in AW and SW, one with gold inserts and soft suspension, the other with black inserts and medium suspension.

Let's get the year started on the right track. Pun intended.
A hobby shop near me had a "we're moving" sale.
At 50% off. I finaly broke down and bought my first NSR. They were $130, down to $65.
Then I saw this.
I heard these are like lightning rods. An open F1 class is brewing. I'm ready.
I've always wanted a 917. Opportunities like this are rare. So I jumped.

I barely bought any new cars last year. I must be making up for lost time.
From the Policar garage.
Tragedy is... some of these cars are coming from a friend that recently gave up slot car racing. His club disolved.

I humbly thank you Nico. These were being offered cheap enough that I could not refuse.
From the Slot.It garage.
This car was taken apart to install an inline pod but it didn't fit. I got the car in parts for $20 Canadian funds.
From the Scalex garage.
This Javelin was brand new in a cracked jewel case for $20. It came from the hobby shop moving sale. I was very surprised that no one found it before I did. I love the shape of the car.
This Sunoco Camaro was bought used for $20.
Cheers,
Ken

Bit of a slow starter but the first of the year for me. This nice but used Escort. The observant may notice the missing wiper. I have it

The more observant will have spotted silver instead of black spotlights. The car arrived with just the drivers side bank of auxilliary lights and I couldn't find a black set. Maybe I'll get round to painting them sometime? Apart from that it's just been dismantled, cleaned, lubed, polished and reassembled.
Nice

Anthony. I humbly thank you. I'm making up for lost time. I barely posted anything last year.
The car looks fast just sitting there, Nico!
What a stunning two-tone colour combination! Nice find Top Down.
