Since Bruno died last year, my supply of urethane tyres stopped with him.

I did try and negotiate a sale for someone but it fell through and it has taken a while for his wife to agree that the business can continue (no idea of the details - not my business) with a new owner.

I am pleased to say that it is now up and running again and run by William INGHELBRECHT from the Paris region here in France.

I have just received my first order as it seemed a good idea to let him know there is still a market out here. The tyres look as good as ever, nice crisp mouldings. I put a couple of pairs on Proslot RTRs. One Toyota and an Alfa. Loads of grip, in fact, better than I remember although I doubt he has changed the recipe.

Those that can, please support this business so it can continue to supply such a wide variety of fittings, not just the usual suspects.

Really good to see it back.

The tyres are so good that I thought...for about five minutes....that the RTRs were quicker than the old cars.

Great fun to chuck about but ultimately, the 60s Mura powered anglewinders do rather put them to shame.

Nevertheless, I reckon I'll be getting some more soon as there are a few cars that are starting to let very little light underneath!

Must try the new ones on the fast cars to see if the mix is different.

I've just sent him a enquiry to send some bike ones to the UK, I've not ordered anything abroad since Brexit so I have no idea of what to do if it's any different. Hopefully he'll reply as it is great that he does them. I doubt I'll get any luck at Scalextric as they don't sell bikes anymore.

Interested to know what the shipping charges work out to be. China to UK still seems to be painless but the EU states to UK can be painful.

Unfortunately I've had no reply Leo.
Fingers crossed they eventually get back to me, maybe one of our men who live in France might have more luck asking?

Hello Gordon,
Can you tell us what the shipping to France was? I am assuming that production has moved to Germany, but I guess the new owner may work out of France?

I assume that it is still all based in France. Probably Don Siegel will know more about William as he is based in Paris. I'll write to Don and see what he knows.

The postage was the usual price (3,99€ if I remember correctly) and the tyres arrived in the usual two or three days.
