firstly i would like to say a huge thankyou to Leo Capaldi 
without him doing all the wiring etc i doubt i could have done this 
so thankyou Leo 

i have been using Ultimate Racer for a while now 
some like , some don't ... lets just say it suits my needs for my analogue track

previously i had cobbled together a functional Scalextric RMS system , but i wasn't happy with this flipper / switch type timing system 
so i needed something better 
this is where Leo comes in , i am rubbish at electronic type stuff , so was very happy when he offered his services 
i was thinking 'light bridge' using a Scalextric Dunlop bridge 
Leo sorted the wiring and upgraded ( imo ) to an IR system 
but the Dunlop bridge was too big for the position on the track i had in mind 
so i 3DP printed a bespoke bridge 
and everything works as it should 
           

if any one wants the bridge STL file , just let me know 
it just fits on my Ender3 Pro build plate with only 1/2mm to spare

Very neat bridge. 

The only tip I can give about pictures is that I only take landscape format photos, and generally they come out the right way up. I always get orientation problems with portrait format pictures.

Always the one to get ahead of the crowd, I've just got my first iPhone!!

I'll have to try uploading direct and see if it happens to me although, as we are all Apple, it seems unlikely. In any case, I always load pics into Photos first and make them the right size for the forum and then upload from there. I've never had one come out the wrong way, either with a camera or the iPad/iPhone.
