Ford RS Sierra Cosworth.
#1

Hi guys, I'm after some help and advice on some parts.
I'm currently trying to restore some old cars.
I know it's easier probably buying a complete car, but I want to complete all parts of my bits and pieces cars.

I'm starting with a vintage C169 Cosworth Monroe (in yellow).
I have the body part number L6730
Floor pan L7213.
I'm looking for part numbers for the windscreen and the drivers cockpit.
The wheels, tyres motors questions to follow.

Once built this car will be racing hopefully more competitively than when it was first built.

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you click on the link below and scroll down the page you will fin a further link at the bottom of the page which will take you to the service sheet

http://www.scalextricguide.com/item_year...yearid=687

You won't find part numbers for the screen and interior because Scalextric didn't sell them as spare parts but there are sellers on Ebay who strip down older cars and sell off the parts and they are your best hope for an interior and screen.

It is likely that it will be way more expensive to buy secondhand parts than it is to find a rough complete car on Ebay and strip off the parts that you need .

Good luck with that. The usual outcome is that you end up with more cars needing bits.
