Find a rusty piece of metal and imagine the sweeping lines of the car... that's pretty much all there is to see right now!
I swear they left the factory rusty...

Also a lot of my time was spent on the official Scalextric forum and that was down until just recently which also sort of made me wander...
Things may change though.. :-)
What year is your Spit? I just got one back in October and busy reworking the wiring and interior over the winter. Mine is a 1975 1500 in Topaz Orange. So far she's a solid runner. And a real blast to drive. Body is in decent shape, but will need to some work on her hind quarter panels at some point to clean up some small rust-throughs with patch panels.
A fun project to work on with the lads...

Here's one of my 1975 Spitfire sitting next to a friend's "Bug-atti" kit car. These two cars turn heads driving around town.
I'll be working on a 3D printed 1/64 and 1/32 Spitfire body shortly. (Just have to finish up some of the other bodies in the queue first. Glad to hear there are other slot car guys who like 'em!

I have several of those including the resin copy I think made by Ocar?
I is a MKII though and I prefer the Mark IV/1500 body style.... that has only every been officially released as a 1/43 and 1/18 scale model...
