I'll get the tyres taken off and screws loosen asap, I've stolen some space in a wardrobe so hopefully it'll be fairly consistent in temp.
I'm hoping I don't get them out, so far I've managed to just have a look through the box lid but the temptation may get too much!!
I've also been collecting the Bond corgi diecast Astons and Lotus's and must admit, I've had the Goldfinger DB5 and Spy Who Loved Me Lotus out and 'tried' the various gadgets
Hope my little boy appreciates my (almost) constraint when he's older :)
Scalextric made a 1/32 Goldfinger Aston Martin DB5 slot car with a functioning ejection seat a few years back. They can still be purchased if you look/hunt for them.
I knew there was a DB5 for the new film but that’s a no gadget car
Quick search this morning and found a few on a popular auction site, not 100% sure I’ll get away with paying that much though.
Have a potentially very boring meeting this morning, must resist not pressing but it now?

Guess what just landed in my basket thanks to a popular auction site & time stolen during a meeting ?
Someone sitting not too far away from me now is going to hit the wall, especially when the track arrives tomorrow!
I've recently starting to unpack cars i put in storage 7-8 years ago in a dry tempered room, and they are in the same condition as before, except for some bad tires. All bad tires are on Carrera cars beside one Revell Monogram NSU.
living in an area where the weather is regularly cold and wet
i store cars sealed in their original boxes
and for added rust / moisture protection i throw in one of those small desiccant silicone sachets ( cheap for 100's on the bay )
works for me
