Suggested date for next meet - Wednesday 23rd June. Who would be available? Due to space limitations at my track the venue would need to be Fluff's, Tel's or NSR if more than three participants.

I can do the 23rd with enough notification ....

Finally, after a few attempts, we managed to have a G.O.L.D. meet with more than 2 people !
Roughwood hosted Brian, Steve and myself. After a few races we managed to find a pair of cars more suited to Steves ability ... 13K motored Legends  Rofl.
Much hilarity was had, usually at Steves expense, and we did manage some close racing too !

Weather/temperature permitting the next round may be hosted at Shedingarden, if Steve can get to the shed and ensure it is still in workable condition after  months of cold and wet  Bigsmile

Preparations are under way to have Shedingarden up and running for the next event
Let me know when you would like it .
I had a great time at Tels Roughwood track ,even if keeping a car in the slot proved problematic !!!!.

Today we met at Fluff's Shedingarden track, last G.O.L.D. meet there was over 2 years ago !
Despite Steve hoovering and wiping down the track, we did have grip issues with rubber tyres throughout the day, but the urethane shod cars were a lot less effected.

Steve was on good form today, and managed to beat Brian and myself a few times, excelling in the Pioneer Legends races.

One of my Ford Falcon's managed to shed a front wheel, and it disappeared into the ether, despite all 3 of us searching on and off track for it.
As per the "law of lost things" likely to be discover by Steve when he puts the Xmas dec's up  Rofl

Good fun was had by all, and Bacon rolls, Sausage rolls and Bakewell tarts were  served up from the catering department, along with plenty of coffee.

Next Meet to be held at Conington Park in around a months time  Checkeredflag

A dig around my various boxes of spares turned up a replacement wheel, insert and tyre, so the Falcon is whole again  Bigsmile

Yesterday Brian's Conington Park hosted the latest G.O.L.D. meeting.
As usual, excellent catering from Brian's good lady.
Great fun and much banter was exchanged.
Here are Brian and Steve racing the Superbird and Daytona, the excuse of the day is reflected in the music on the video !

I have Penciled in 22nd June for the round at Roughwood, does this work for everyone ?
