A final post on my Peugeot 205.
From the FOLM organisation, I have learnt that the body is from MSC/Scaleauto and was one of their 'Legend' series of Paris/Dakar cars. It's a resin body with fantastic detailing, now with decals for the numbers added. I also did a but of fettling underneath to make the body a better fit for the Mitoos chassis. It would have originally come with the plastic 'Dakar' chassis from MSC/Scaleauto, but that wasn't in my raffle prize, so I have put it on a metal chassis to try and create a semi-competitive Raid racer.
Anyway, having something on your bench for a week of so gives you the opportunity to look at it in detail, and I just think it is a cracker!
(Just out of interest, both this Pioneer version and the Camel liveried car are still available from Pendle...)

Lots of benchwork here now that the nights are drawing in.
Bought this SCX Integrale because of the Marlboro livery and hoped it would run as good as it looked...sadly not. But it gave me the perfect opportunity to re-build it into something hopefully more competitive for next year's Worthing Rally Stages. So I have paired the body with an Amato chassis, an SRC M3 motor, and some SRC Delta wheels (black of course), et voila!
First run in a week or so...fingers crossed that it's sorted.

More ongoing work
A monogram Ferrari 330 that had a hole in the rear deck, and an Atlas Gt 40 that I am going to polish only as it is very original either all its pieces and decals in relatively good condition!

Nice work Anthony. I love the Ferrari 330 LM.
The Matra MS-80 was mastered by Martin Field and cast for Mel by me. I remember we had to revise the rear wing and engine cover piece. It was an awkward shape to cast successfully. If you ever want another I have one carved by David Mitcham which is slightly more elegant.
On my bench at the moment is some casting work which is from more of David’s excellent carving.
