After the catastrophic event of breaking a front wheel (rears were already glued on) - and the model being out of production for some time, I had to wait 2 months for wheels to be available to purchase 3D printed via SpotModel.
Here I've cleaned the original rear wheels to repaint...
Here is the freshly re-painted rear wheel...
Here's the base ready for parking lot lines to be painted - and the cones have been fitted with magnets to stay in place...
Rotors and calipers are almost done and new front wheels...

A 300 SL kit ended up on my workbench a few days ago. A custom chassis is ready. It's going back to the owner for final assembly. The numbers listed on the chassis are the tire diameters.
Thank you very kindly for looking.

I am pretty sure that motor from the D Type kit can be a nice power boost for other cars.....
Nicely done.

A 1/24 Toyota 2000 GT kit ended up on my bench a while ago. A chassis has been made, and it's going to the new owner for assembly.
Technically it's off my bench now.

Another three 1/24 kits magically appeared on my bench out of nowhere. I had to make 4-chassis for 3-friends by Saturday, and it was already Thursday. That included the Toyota 2000 GT from the previous post. The other three cars that needed a chassis were a BMW Z-4, a Pantera, and a '66 Nova SS. Not bad for a guy that's supposed to be retired.
Thank you very kindly for looking.

Two cars on my bench at the minute
An Aoshima Suzuki Jimny semi built, and another Aoshima kit that needs building, a Nissan S30 Fairlady Z
Going to be a while before the Jimny is finished and Fairlady started though, have a pass for a few days to go carp fishing, then it's a week with my 4 yr old for half term!

"Car Appearis". I like it. That's funny.
There's no substitute for elbow grease. I burned a little midnight oil to get the job done. The cars and chassis are back with their owners for final assembly.
With my plate clean, I can start/continue some personal projects again.
I went to the cottage for a few days and painted a few 1/24 bodies. I forgot to bring the weights to hold the bodies while they dry. I came up with a solution by using what we had at the cottage. Empty bottles loaded with rocks. Hey, it worked.
