If you have the standard Classic rally turns, you can change them fairly easily for Sport versions. No electronics required. We came up with a few designs for our WHO Winter Rally Sprint last year and I wrote them up here: https://blog.jadlamracingmodels.com/2021...lly-loops/

What I’ve done in this thread is to create a single lane track with a loop each end. That means cars are travelling down the same lane in both directions - hence the over-complicated electronics. I did this mostly because I wanted the electronic challenge. The simple solution would have been a two lane track with loops each end - the traditional Scalextric rally loop set-up.

And could this single lane set-up be made for customers? Probably not the best idea… there is a lot of on-going problem-solving - which is reasonably easy as I built it, but might be problematic and frustrating otherwise.
