So... The race for this car never happened. The organizer dropped out of racing for the most part. The build went on the back burner for two years until now.
Another friend and race host picked up the pieces, and started up the interest again.
We raced this class last Thursday night. I now had a good reason to complete the car. It still needs a hoop, exhaust pipe, numbers, etc. But, I'm happy with the way it runs.

My humble apologies for not opening it up.
Here's the front motor drive exposed.
A piece of scrap aluminum from the chassis was used to make a bracket for the drive shaft bushing. Cheap as air.
