You might have noticed that the very first picture on our home page is Ewy Rosqvist and Ursula Wirth's Mercedes, and we've featured the whole story of their remarkable victory in the 1962 Gran Premio Internacional Standard Supermovil YPF (Touring Car Grand Prix) of Argentina over in the track plans section.
They weren't thought to have a chance, they got food poisoning before the race, and the race itself was a gruelling marathon event composed of stages of 500-800 km long. They won every stage.
