yep 

anything that helps ppl in the hobby is great as far as im concerned 
we all find different routes or solutions to similar problems 
adapting those ideas and find the best is always the way to go 
would be boring if we all thought the same ( or thats what my wife tells me )

Greg has a Tire Razor reciprocator add on freely downloadable on thingiverse.

tbh i would have been upset if he had monetized my original design 
which is originally a free download on thingiverse ( as are all my designs )

but he didnt ... so props to him 

and he did make a few modifications / upgrades to the original which as stated above  is the way to go imo ( and linked his to mine for reference )

Difficult to reconcile post 3 with the ‘explanation’ in post 6, I always welcome constructive criticism and post 3 was not constructive in any way shape or form, and frankly came across as arrogant hence my reply.

Looking back, I see that I could have chosen my words more carefully to avoid that. For that, I apologize.

@JMay - Nice design!  I love the simplicity of it (that's not a knock).  I've been playing with a couple different tire truer designs myself with some success. The Hudy and Tire Razors are undoubtedly great machines, but they are a bit pricey - appropriately so for great machines.  I just love seeing low-cost alternatives.  They make it easier for people just getting started in the hobby improve their experience.  Thanks for sharing!
