Here are some photos of 4 completed out 6 Workshop Garage kits now installed into the pits on the Goodwood section.
Giving it a rest now for a few days as I'm going crossed eyed, some of the parts are so small I had to pick them up with a damp paint brush to glue into position!!
They look phenomenal , I can see they would be a problem assembling them .Not sure why you would need a box plane though ! Unless you where working on a Marcos
Thanks guys, yes I suppose a box plane would be useful on a Morgan too!
The parts are really detailed amazing for the size, there are also 2 oil drums and a compressor which at the time I hadn't painted.
The decals for the oil cans were incredibly fiddly, just when you thought you'd attached them they would end up in the wrong place or stuck to your finger!
Managed to light up the interior of the pits this week, dare I say it Christmas has come early to Wilco this year and purchased a string of tree lights for £2.50.
Battery powered they give out just the right amount of light!
Managed to brave the heat in the shed and finish and position 6 of the Dylcom figures Infront of the snack bar (still not finished) .One problem though there's a destinct lack of serving staff people
Thought I would add some of the Iconic scenes from the late John Bacon's work (Original video by Melbourne Raceways).
The pics are video grabs - so not always the best pics, but the work is sublime in my opinion and well worth the look for inspiration. Hope you all agree.
Virtually all the spectators were hand made or modified commercial items.....
