Saturday May 14th race night.

Good to see that the club rules and classes are maintaining a good balance across the field, with the three classes producing three different winners again.

First up were club Grp 5 support cars, with winner Mark J leading a very tight field.

          

The main race was for owner/driver Saloon & Touring cars. A varied field saw Vic take top step on the podium following more close racing.

          

          

          

      

The final support race was for Mk1 Escorts. Being a 1:1 Ford man it was fitting that Shaun led the pack, once again ahead of a tight field.

          

Highlights of the night?

Apart from the very tight racing and three different winners? 

1) Vic & Bill spending 10 mins trying to find out why lane 5 wasn't working only to find that the controller was plugged in to lane 6. 

2) Trying to figure out why Mark's car wouldn't work by using different controllers on different lanes, only to find there was no motor in the car when it was turned over to check the pickups.

I've been promising to visit  ever since ce you 1st posted club details on slotracer 
So, Saturday 25th I will be there!

I'll bring my nascotwood mosler pair , my nascotwood nsr corvette pair , 
My LSCC sportscar pair and a selection of LSCC Gt cars.
Must be something in there that will work on your track. 

Which tyres do you typically use?

Thanks for a great evening's racing.
Both Hayden and I really enjoyed the visit.
The route home was quicker than expected at 90 minutes.
Next visit I'll bring some test gear to figure out why my SCP2 simply didn't work at the track.
