It appears I am capable of error. A lifetime's infallibility hasn't prepared me for this event.
 
I was measuring up for the two vents in the doors of the Lotus and the proportions didn't look right. I looked at the photos of the car again and realised that I have made the screen flat (ish) instead of curved at the ends. This was discovered when the finish is nearing final paint of course. I have the option of a] starting again, b] modifying it, c] leave it as it is and pretend I hadn't noticed.
 
I am veering towards 'c'
 
This car was started just to give me something to do rather than for a race meeting and just because it was interesting rather than a car that I had always admired. Annoying, but in the great scheme of things, probably not the end of the world.
