SureChange guide is my baby and you can buy direct from me - I discount for forum members and the latest models have a slightly deeper blade to match the new deeper Scalextric guide depth.
You are right that Arc Pro currently has a requirement to see blade before LED so SureChange won’t work until somebody comes up with a firmware upgrade. It’s a mystery why Scalextric didn’t mirror APB sending.
However it works perfectly with APB c7052 and older C7030 and 4 car PB.
There are 3 models - Classic for Fly trucks and old clamshell cars, Sport as a direct replacement for current screw fixed quick change Scaley guides and Racing for Pioneer, Slot.It, Ninco, SCX, NSR and similar lower ground clearance cars. The stem is long but trimmable so you can even use it to replace a spring guide.
The only brand not covered is modern Carrera which has its own very unique setup.
