The first car I ever drove was a well used 1964 Chrysler Newport. It was a huge boat.
It had a square steering wheel, and a push-button select-O-matic transmission built into the dashboard.
It was the first years of power brakes in full size cars. Touch the brake pedal just a hair too hard, and lock up all four wheels.
