I'm glad slot cars are good for mental health! I like scratch building 'em. I find scratch building RC vintage scale sailplanes for aerotowing heaps of fun! You can't aerotow alone so the social aspect is there. My 'loner' hobby is bicycle riding. I used to race. I maintain and restore vintage 'racing' bikes some of which are scarce. I have a driveable restored '59 Beetle which is hot-rodded a bit. My '57 Beetle just needs re-assembly and my '58 MGA is almost finished. I do most of the work. If I ever retire maybe more can get accomplished!
