If you race analogue and you’re not into dead strips here’s a 8 lane wireless lapcounter.
You’ll need an overhead gantry of IR LEDs.
You’ll need 1 photo transistor installed in the track per lane.
You’ll need one pull up resistor per photo transistor.
You need 1 MPD.
A 12V power supply.
A NCD PR33-19 8 channel opto sensor.
Just set up as per any wired set up.
Instead of hardwiring back to PC, the PR33-19 plugs into MPD data port. From here it goes to Race Coordinator via Scorpius Dongle.
