Keeping it civil and other forum members names out of it, I didn't mention anyone in particular and criticised nobody, all I said was:

38-50k motors on skinny rubber tyres...I see no point in that whatsoever.

The tyres on the MRSlotcar Corvette look about 8mm wide and with a track width of only 54mm (as in the picture I posted) an overpowered motor wouldn't logically be a wise choice.

The original tyres are actually 7mm wide across the walls.
And 5mm contact patch as they were.
