Ronnie booked us in for a golf lesson this morning. neither of us had tried it before but now we have time, it seems a good idea to have a go at stuff.
There is a driving range and practice green quite near us so orft we jolleywelled.
Ronnie went first and I watched what he was teaching her as trying to hear what he was saying is a waste of time with my ears.
When my turn came, I asked him if the safety nets weren't a bit low and a bit near (100 metres or er...so). He scoffed he did! "No-one could get the ball anywhere near them at their first attempt" he said.
Don't know about you but I take that sort of thing as bit of a challenge
"Use the driver" he said, "it will make no difference"
The first ball was a bit wayward but it cleared the fence some way to the left. The next ball cleared the fence at the end. "er" he said "would you swap to the iron please". So I put that one over the fence as well.
