This November/December 2023 number 132 Model Car Racing issue IS THE LAST ISSUE.
On December 1, 2023 all of the Model Car Racing website will be down and none of the links will be accessible.

While it is inevitable we all get old, I am really quite sad to see Robert retiring, as he has been an integral part of the journey of slots cars since the 60's. I have been a collector of slot magazzines from the 60's for many years, and he was a big part of the substance in these magazines.( I also have the first 96 editions of MCR in printed format) His series on the Paramount ranch track building comes to mind, as well as his support and drive to keep accuracy and scale to slot racing when the all out drive was to speed speed speed with cars looking less and less like cars to the extreme of wings being added and racing only on 2 wheels.
I have not always agreed with all his ideas and directions, but I can honesstly say he has had a huge impact on slot racing in general and on my journey along this road.

Thanks Robert for all you have done , the pleasure you have brought to 000's, and have a great retirement.
