Hello Johnno, any chance you could post a pic. of the track you will be running on, as it will definitely make a difference in determining your best choice for the parts for your car,..........eg., the JK C26/C43 chassis that you have mentioned is a very good (and popular) chassis, but, it can be purchased with variations (heavier/lighter) center sections and pans, depending on the track........generally lighter for high banked tracks, heavier for flatter tracks.
Similarly, bodies will differ slightly, again, depending on the track configuration.
You will not need front wheels/tires, as these cars do not use them.
Any 3/32 x 3/16 oilites from Slick 7, Koford, Mossetti, JK, will be just fine,.........aligning and soldering the bushings is more important than the manufacturer, as most oilites are fairly similar.
(I am guessing that your rules do not allow for reduced od. oilites, but, if they do, these are a bonus as they allow for more precise rear axle/bushing alignment, without filing/grinding the holes in the the rear uprights, which most rule sets do not allow).....if you can use these. they are available from Mossetti and JK.
Koford 3/32 axles are the predominant choice among most 1/24 racers, the variations with "flats" for setting the grub screws for both wheels and spur gears are recommended. For "Flexi" cars hollow axles are not needed.
The JK Hawk 9 motor (google JK Hawk 9),.....is a popular motor, it is quick, reasonably consistent, as durable as anything in this class of motors and inexpensive.
Without seeing the track, 11/37 may well be the ideal gear ratio, and if this is the ratio that you have been advised on, it would suggest a tighter/shorter track.
There are several tyre compounds, and hub diameters that work well, but these are track dependant, (and dependant on the level of spay glue on the track)....without putting a car on the track, it is difficult to make any recommendations,........ask what the quick guys are running.........in fact, for all of the various components, the track owner/fast guys will be your best source of the best components to use.
Sorry to be so vague, but without seeing/driving the track, it is very difficult to be diffinitive.
Cheers
