Although I do like the simplicity of ARC Pro, do have a look at Slot.it oXigen - after all, you do have the controllers!
OXigen has a purer controller-to-car radio connection, rather than the digital command signal being in the power rails, which can be prone to drop-outs or interference.
Oxigen also allows you to choose the track system you want to use - Scalextric, Carrera, Ninco, Policar (coming soon) or even a custom-built wood track. The electronics in the Scalextric lane changers (and pit entry) are oXigen-compatible. With the other systems, you exchange the electronics with an oXigen module.
