OK,
I said "no more proxies" for me...
..but, it could be indeed "be a laugh".
I have 2 of these scaley inline sidecars fitted with :
- slot.it S-can motors
- slot.it guides
- steels axles
- alloy rear wheels
I have tried to get these working well enough to run around in practice at a club just for a lark about (but never got anywhere close)
Neither of my clubs use these so so it would not detract from my club racing.
So, depending on the construction rules, I am tentatively up for this
If anyone does not have experience of these, they are much much MUCH harder to stabilise than any car you have ever tried to tune.
- Very short guide length
- No front wheels. (Just one plastic functionless disc on a floating drop arm)
- no way to lower the CofG
- no way to widen the rear axle width.
The "power rangers" liveries seemed to go cheapest on fleabay back when I was looking for one.
Easy to repaint.. Concors?
Alan
