Following on from the DN4 is a homage to the 917-10. Lurking in a drawer in the loft was an old Matchbox 917-10 that I had bought back in the 70s which was converted to run on a RikoRocket brass chassis. The shell is rather tatty, the chassis long since migrated to another shell, but enough left to aid design as follows.
 
   

Above is the 2nd trial print after some trimming and assembly (rear wing & driver). Gradually adding more detail to the design and refining the print to alleviate process issues i.e. 1st print the wing assembly snapped as too thin. Some profile compromises made due to print and software limitations but the overall dimensions are correct for wheelbase etc.
Will be ready for sale by mid February.
