A 3D forum would be a great idea.
It would allow those who understand the 3D printing process to help each other with problems and would also help those of us who don't fully understand the process to know what is available and where we can purchase printed bodies, chassis etc and we might even get to understand a bit more of the process along the way.
3D chassis and bodies are accepted by CSCRA (although some of the more traditional scratchbuilders may mark the car down in concours) because CSCRA recognise that building a car using a 3D chassis or fettling a 3D body still involves a considerable amount of work so although creating the files and printing parts is a bit of a niche section of the hobby it can benefit everyone who wants a bit more than just running cars straight out of the box.
