following on from Alan's advice above , 
i decided see if i could 3d print some of the tools listed  
these are my attempts so far :-
    9v battery warm up block
    ride height gauge (mm)
    tyre oil roller / conditioner 
    wheel balancing jig

all work great 

next mission ... rolling road / dyno .... might be quite a while until next post
