That was the way we intended it to go, race all the same classes on each track that we normally do in the rotation with us four private track owners in the area. Made for a decent and long day, especially for the guys that drove up from Sydney, they left Sydney at 4am and then they drove straight back when we called it at 10:30pm, they didn't get back home until just after 2am... now that is dedication to the hobby.
Next event like this I think travelling needs to be done on Friday, spend Saturday and half Sunday racing with the return home Sunday afternoon, we shall drive that road when it comes around next.
A bit sad that more of the Sydney boys couldn't make the day though. At least from this event being my first in the hobby, I have some ideas now how it can be improved, well easier for all, such as pre-ordering food the night before ready for the lunch next day, have a few more class cars prepped for those inevitable failures on the day etc. it was great to see another person, veteran to the hobby, race with a few of my own cars such as the Revoslot Dodge Viper, this thing had been behaving up on and off so it got sent to the sin bin, when it was needed for a quick replacement, the damn thing never skipped a beat, John drove the wheels off it for the next 10 hours, showed me that it isn't always the car at fault, it is more so the nut behind the controller who is responsible for the cars' poor performance

I thoroughly enjoyed watching my car being raced by a veteran, even he was impressed with it, I was loathed to replace the braids but they were completely shot before the racing, afterwards they were literally falling to bits, so we shall see how it goes next week under race conditions, so far it is behaving on my track, but that is today, come tomorrow it will have another attitude towards me

I took a lot out of the day and hope to be involved again with another event like this. It is true that this hobby and industry have some bloody terrific people involved.
