The second Policar 312B2 will be arriving with retailers in two weeks time. And it's an absolute cracker - a model of the car in which Ferrari legend Clay Regazzoni claimed pole position at the 1971 British Grand Prix...

       

The weekend started very well, but then fizzled out with both Regazzoni and Ickx retiring. Nonetheless, it was a Ferrari 1-2 for a few laps...




The Policar model is just beautiful...

       

It oozes power, speed - and legendary drivers struggling on the limits of adhesion...

       

       

There is an updated version of the Policar gearbox - with bevelled plastic pinion and first gear - although from the look of the picture below, the new 312B2 has the original with a brass pinion and plastic crown...

       

I love these Policar non-mag classic F1 models with their unique pinion + 4-gear transmission - they look sensational and perform wonderfully at home and on club tracks. This Ferrari is definitely on my wishlist.

The Policar CAR05b is being shipped to distributors now and has an official sale date of Friday 18 June. It is available on pre-order now.
