One of the outcomes of my recent adventures with learning how to wire up my controller and track in a 'positive wiring/common ground' configuration was that I burnt out two Fusion 101 power supplies. These good, but basic, PS to not have any accessible fused protection so once I caused 'the whistle of death' from each one, they became unusable.
Is there a way of introducing an inline fuse into the wiring circuit to provide accessible protection to the Power Supply? Anybody doing this, and do you have a preferred product?
It is an 8A, 13.8v, unit, so as I only run one RTR type car at a time on my track, I was thinking maybe a 5A fuse?
This is the wiring circuit: -
Any advice welcome...
Thank you
