Body spares sources? I don't buy new, so frequently need bits and pieces to improve what I have. Not too bothered about mirrors since they're constantly being shed - but spoilers, headlight lenses, grills, especially for Audi R8's! Maybe alternatives that will work if originals too difficult to source? resin or 3D printed?

Running gear?

I'd like to build a stock of 'standard' consumable parts if possible.

In HO, which I raced for years, guide pins, pickups, springs and tyres (front and rear) were of a standard 'universal fit' within one makers range - and even across 30 years worth of chassis changes! Definitely NOT the case in 1/32 - but could some cars BE standardised with aftermarket guide blades, hence braid type and size too, for example?

Good alternative tyres for home racing specific to car types? 

Alternative guide flags? I see quite a few people change then for club racing but what is the best for home digital track on Scalextric Sport, which would also work at clubs running plastic sectional track - and is there one type that is available to fit Scalextric, Ninco, Carrera and Monogram? I want to try aand do away with the Scalextric replacement 'disc' braid replacement and use a standard guide for those, etc.

Magnets? I know that is a divisive subject but some of the 2nd hand cars have had their magnets removed. Some older car magnets are so weak they might as well not be there and I know 'downforce' from magnets varies with distance from the track, etc BUT is there a source of 'one size fits all' Scalextric bar magnet cars and another for the round type? I'd then play around with tyre sizes to try and equalise downforce when they are being run with magnets. 

Pinions? Scalextric whites seem to split. Is there a good reliable, durable alternative?

LOTS of questions - and I suspect LOTS of answers - and they might well be out there already .............
