FWIW, I do not have, nor will ever have, space for a large 1/32 track....so I have put all my energy into making the best small tracks I can.  I find there are certain advantages: easier to marshal, easier to completely finish, ability to create a variety of track types.  I do race digital with pacer cars, though, and that really changes the dynamics of racing on a small circuit with moderate-length straight sections.
