Nostalgia Funny Car 4-Gear Qualifying

This is a new class for the Winter Series - with updated regs - and has grown out of the summer match-racing and elimination race at the series finale.

Here's how the first qualifying session panned out...

   

Congrats to Bill on his TQ - that's a super-smooth AW chassis. The others have some work to do for February and March! However, let's see what happens in the eliminators later this evening... There are no foregone conclusions in drag racing!

That's it for today's qualifying - T-Jets will qualify before their elimination rounds tomorrow.

However, it's only the start of today's action - the Funny Car eliminators will follow the first match race rounds around 8-o'clock.
