Wow, that is a heck of a collection. I've collected Hot Wheels at one time and see what looks like money in boxes. When I first started collecting, the internet was not yet invented.

You can EBay every car one by one and look for the lowest price. That's usually the real price. Sell groups of new cars like 3 or 4 together (one Mustang, one Charger, one Corvette...). Collectors will find the one they want and usually buy the rest. It saves listing every car one by one. You can check prices on almost everything on EBay in a few evenings.

You might have a hidden gem that spikes the price of that one item. You won't know until you list it. No one can predict these things or everyone would still be making silly "Cabbage Patch" dolls.

You can also bury the entire lot under the stairs until you retire. At which point you can rent a table, and be a slot car vendor. Looking at the multiple copies of the collection tells me that was the old owners original plan.

You can bet that Shell truck still in the box from "Toys R Us" is worth way more than $3.95. Just put that one item on EBay for fun and see. Just remember that sellers with good ratings get all the money. New sellers without a rating don't get the super high bids. It's usually too risky.
