Because you went with 1/24. The world is your oyster when it comes to car choices if you ever decide to get into kit bashing or scratch building.
We have a local hobby shop that has the best of everything and lots of it. They must have at least 300 1/24 or 1/25 static kits of American cars of every make and year. They have 3 or 4 kits in 1/32. That's typical of 1/32 static kits. 1/32 scratch builders can't find static kits of old and odd American muscle to turn into slot cars.
One trick is to adapt a static body to the cheapest digital Carrera chassis/car you can buy. Trying to find a Carrera 1/24 1966 Barracuda slot car would otherwise be imposssible. But if you learn to build... Anything is possible in the future.
