Things are quiet benchwise this week as I'm in building mode again. Our lounge has a new ceiling and I'm up five metre towers painting the damned thing - the ceiling slopes up to a mezzanine section.
One thing I have done is build a new chassis for the 24th scale Tyrrell. It had a Dynamic chassis but it was one of the flexible things that never did work properly. Even with the suspension locked up, I just couldn't get it to handle. The Mabuchi 270S just overwhelmed it for a start even though it's the slower of the two I bought recently. So it's a proper brass chassis with crap solder joints!!
Must tidy them up.
Goes pretty well now and there is more traction which makes for an easier drive. Still not as fast as the Spazzaneve that Anthony is not going to get
