Well,
I'm sure all of the grumps are rolling their eyes for my use of "So and Well"
It's looking good Jason , hope my irreverent nonsense will fit in here. Good to see so many familiar "handles" posting in the forum.
I'm really missing my Slot Rallying, both local and the WRP. I've done a bit of work on my tracks during lock down, but ran out of materials. Hopefully they'll be a bit more available now and I can get finished. Unfortunately SWMBO has been cracking the whip and I've been tackling DIY projects around the house, and we've been walking and cycling together quite a bit.
See you around
Simon

Yo Simon,
Good to see you here - surely we left enough clues...

Obviously not quite the right clues, all though to be fair I was a bit distracted by the cancer thing from April last year, so that could explain it!
All is good now

Thanks Jason,
I'm glad it was last year, as I had no prostate cancer symptoms. I took a voluntary test last March. TBH it f*****d up our year, but hey I'm not dead
Sorry if I appear flippant, by you need to fight it not feel sorry for yourself. As a friend said, you're not dying from cancer , you're living with it!
Once it's safe I urge everyone to get checked for Prostate Cancer, it's only a blood test for most guys. I had none of the symptoms, and I guess most guys don't, by the time they manifest it my be a bit late for an easy ride. More detail on the PCUK website
This disease is now killing more men that breast cancer kills women!

Fellow prostate cancer sufferer just saying welcome.
I had my prostate out 5 weeks ago having been diagnosed last autumn. I would reinforce everything you said, and also about being aware of your body (or bladder) trying to tell you something is wrong, and having a chat with your doctor to see if you need testing.
I love puttering with gears

When I turned 40 I started going to the doctor regularly.
I was positively surprised they have a great program to keep track of all the things that can go wrong with you.
It gave me incentive to "an ounce of prevention...."

Sorry for the hijak... I'm 48 and don't go to the doctor. What's this about your body (or bladder) telling you something is wrong? Did you experience some discomfort somewhere that led you to get checked?
