I just stumbled onto this on Ebash. It was $9.50 USD buy now ($7 for shipping). I was curious enough that I did not hesitate.
It does not have the detail of a Fein kit. But, it's also cheaper than one round of coffees with my friends. I can afford to beat it to death, and laugh about it.
I like it. A good excuse to paint and build another car.

The chassis has been completed. What took me so long, eh? Assembly is next.

Hi Gordon,
Very interesting colour. Thank you very kindly for the suggestion.
However, that's a McLaren M1B. The Elva is an M1A.

Hi Chappy,
I first tried painting a 1/32 ThunderSlot Elva white kit in "Elvis" colours before they officially released it (making mine a waste of time).
I also had a major failure with the paint. You can see it at the bottom right in the following pic. No more gold cars for me thanks. Anything but gold. I've parked the whole project out of frustration.

That's true but the scheme would suit it very well I reckon. Anyway orange is boring and reminds me of Miss Bingley in Pride and Prejudice (especially in fan fiction where much is made of her colour choices)

I found this 1:1 Elva on Google Images. Blue with a white stripe looks good.

Tamiya light blue. The colour is close to the 1:1.
